Introduction
We are delighted to announce the opening of Abstract Submissions for the Annual Scientific Meeting of KOPAPDI XIX in conjunction with The 3rd Congress of ASEAN Federation of Internal Medicine (AFIM) !
The committee warmly invites medical students, general practitioners, residents, and specialists to submit their research abstracts for review and selection. Accepted abstracts will have the opportunity to be featured in one of the following categories: Oral Presentation, E-Poster Presentation, Young Investigator Award Competition. Before submitting, please make sure to review the Abstract Submission Guidelines thoroughly to ensure compliance with all requirements. Submissions that do not meet the guidelines will not be considered. We look forward to your valuable contributions and seeing the latest developments in internal medicine research showcased at this prestigious event.
Rules:
- All participants in the scientific competition are required to submit an abstract of their paper to be included in the competition.
- Participants are required to submit abstracts related to the field of Internal Medicine. The topics should align with the following:
1. Cardiology 2. Pulmonology 3. Endocrinology and Metabolism 4. Gastroenterology and Hepatology 5. Hematology and Oncology 6. Nephrology | 7. Rheumatology 8. Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine 9. Geriatric Medicine 10. Allergy And Clinical Immunology 11. Psychosomatic |
- Abstract submissions are divided into two categories: Original Articles (research and meta-analysis) and Case Reports.
- All participants in the scientific competition (medical students, general practitioners, residents, or specialists) must be registered as attendees of the event.
- Abstracts must contain original material that has not been published or presented at other meetings.
- Submitted abstracts must adhere to the abstract writing guidelines, provisions, and required information as outlined.
- The deadline for abstract and poster submission is [31 Maret 2025].
- Participants selected for the Young Investigator Awards or oral presentations will be required to present their abstracts at the symposium venue (time to be announced later).
- The decisions of the judges and the committee are final and cannot be contested.
- All submitted abstracts must be written in English.
- Abstracts must be original and free from plagiarism.
- The abstract should be written on A4 paper with the following margins: 4 cm on the left, 3 cm on the right, 3 cm on the top, and 3 cm on the bottom.
- The abstract must include the title of the scientific work, followed by the names of the first, second, and third authors, as well as the name of the institution.
- The title of the scientific work should be written in Times New Roman font, size 12. The authors' names should use Times New Roman font, size 10.
- The line spacing for the abstract is 1.
- The abstract should be no longer than 300 words. Tables and figures are not allowed.
- Abstracts for original articles must include the introduction, methods, results, conclusion, and keywords.
- Abstracts for case reports must include the introduction, case illustration, conclusion, and keywords.
